Trish Davidson

Trish Davidson founded the charity Unchosen in 2007, having learnt that slavery not only continues to exist across the world, but that it is also widespread in British communities. Determined to change this reality, Trish decided to draw on the emotionally engaging qualities of film to raise awareness of modern slavery across the UK and Europe.

Trish’s determination and commitment to raising awareness of modern slavery have been widely recognised, including winning the 2012 Marsh Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Fight against Modern Slavery, which the MCT runs in partnership with the Human Trafficking Foundation.

Trish was also instrumental in working with the MCT to set up the Marsh Award for Community Activism in Combatting Modern Slavery with Unchosen in 2013 and we were delighted that she agreed to join the Ambassador Scheme in 2017.
