Marsh Award for Music Education
The Marsh Award for Music Education recognises people who have made outstanding contributions to help support the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s education programme by bringing classical music to all in the community.
The 2012 winner is Sheena Masson
Sheena Masson is the primary music coordinator for Camden Music Service and has worked alongside the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment over the past 10 years. She has a passion for making music accessible to children and works tirelessly to make opportunities happen for thousands of youngsters each year. Her job is to liaise with schools in Camden but her commitment to making things happen above and beyond her role is a perfect example of an unsung hero.
